The New York Times says that Taam-Tov is “the best deal on a street where you can end up spending a fortune. Perched two floors above 47th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, it’s smack in the middle of the diamond district…Taam-Tov is a glatt kosher establishment, but rarely has a restricted diet tasted as good as it does here.”
Specialties include lamb and chicken shish kebabs, Lamb Ribs, and house favorites like Bakhsh and Beef Stroganoff. The featured dishes here have rich flavors and the meats are cooked to perfection before being delivered by their warm and accommodating staff.
You can dine indoors or on an outdoor balcony when the weather is nice. Order for delivery on SeamlessWeb or dine in and find out why everyone is talking about this glatt kosher restaurant!

HORRIBLE!!!! Ordered chicken schwarma, avocado salad and babaganoush. That is NOT what we got. The avocado salad was actually tahini and the chicken and babaganoush was inedible. When I called the restaurant nobody answered despite being 45 minutes before they closed. Will NEVER order again. Terrible quality.

Food was very tasty, delivery is usually decent. Like anything else, they have good days and bad ones. That said, food is decent but the prices are climbing. one last thing, to see sushi in a turkish restaurant is more than a little disconcerting...

It was maybe Kosher, but it was for sure discusting.
meet was not good, french fries were swiming into water.
When everything goes wrong... they forgot our drinks.

The most delicous thing I've had from seamless in a while. Nice and refreshing. Fast delivery.

The delivery guy did not show up

First review ever for me. Food took way too long, chicken was way undercooked, salad spilled all over the bag, and the food was cold. I can't stress this enough, STAY AWAY!

Has to be one of the better places on Seamless! Food comes on time and that borscht soup is to die for...also had the stuffed cabbage and that was superb, too! Try it, you'll love it...

Delicious food, good portion and fast delivery....i order from them once a week. Its the best kosher food in the city IMO!!!

Most disappointing restaurant on seamless. Beef kebab portion was equivalent of 1 stick even though menu said 2. The meat was gristly and cold. The meal was packed carelessly and the contents of the containers spilled in the bag. Also, requested delivery at 6.15pm (ordered at 5pm) yet the food was not delivered until 6.45pm. Would not recommend this place!!!

The food was really bad. Very salty and very bad.

Basically chicken and fries, but its very good. Make sure to ask for lemon wedges for the chicken and ketchup for the fries. A little expensive, but totally worth it with Seamless 15-20% discount which they give out 1-2 times a month via email or Facebook.

Terrible. Restaurant "forgot" to notify Seamless they were closed and our order took 30 min of our waiting until it was cancelled.

Rude obnoxious staff, wouldn't want to dine here if it was the last place on earth.

Having ordered several times from here, I can recommend only the soups, especially the kharcho and shurpa which are excellent. Shwarma and beef stroganoff are blah. Pilafs are expensive given the little amount of meat they contain.

Sea Bass came in a very tiny portion, and they gave me the wrong drink. Delivery also took over 1 hour. Don't recommend

The shwarma over laffa was just ok. Not bad, and the delivery time was accurate. They put fries in the sandwich was unexpected, and they were a bit soggy (not crisp). The chicken was tasteful and fresh. I would try something else, but not the same dish as it was lacking vegetables, spice, etc.

bad customer service, but good food. This is not a reliable place unfortunately for delivery in reasonable time

Food was prepared fast and was very good. However, I did not get my exact order (left things off I asked for, put things in I did not)

Borsch with cumin and celery with hot sauce on the side instead of sour cream, really? It tasted nothing like borsch, not even close!
Lulya kebab was ok, but french fries that came with it were stale. I've eaten there once years ago and remembered the food to be tasty and authentic so needless to say I was really disappointed this time around. Will not order again.

Great Russian food. Not very fancy, but perfect for work lunches. A little bit pricey too, but totally worth it. The borsch is great, beef stroganoff is delish. Everything is fresh and cooked well.

terrible food (meat not done well), and way overpriced for the amount they give, very minute portions! i dont recommend this restaurant at all!

this is tricky, the food is AWESOME they have the best kebabs ever. The portion size and price however, are not always worth it, if they can reduce the price or supersize the portions it would be great. The delivery time is uaually between 30-45 minutes reasonable usually.

The pelmene soup is a huge winner. The lamb kabobs, the seabass kabobs and the salmon kabobs are perfect. The bulgar wheat sidedish is great, even the fries are great.

The soups are delicious and the chicken is fabulous. I think this is the best Bukharian food available in Manhattan.

Ordered Pilov for takeout, they are fast, food is only OK, price is hight for amount of food, rice was little but they put good amount of meat on it. Very cheap on utensil and condiments: off brand ketchup, Chinese hot sauce (I am not kidding) and they put ONE spoon in the bag(no fork, knife or salt/pepper). Recommended? No.

$12 ffor beef shiskebab that was bascially 8 little pieces of beef with a salad that was mostly cucumber is a rip off.
And one of the beef pieces was pure fat.

Need a good, filling meal in a hurry that's priced ok? Taam Tov. I've been eating their takeout chicken shish kabob for years. LOVE the samsa too! Give them a try!

THE BEST LAMBCHOPS IN TOWN ! ! ! ! Amazing rice, fries, and salads.
Posted 7 years ago by Shahar I.
Although the chicken shish arrived quickly, it was two lines of fatty, dried-out meat in a styrofoam container of rice. Avoid. The tomato and onion salad was fine, but how hard is it to get that right? Then again, how hard is it to do a chicken shishkabob? Harder, apparently, than this place can manage.

Quick delivery.....food not so good......fries soggy.......chicken kind of weird.

Delicious Lepeshka (bread) and really tasty cabbage stuffed with meat. Fast delivery.

Very strict Kosher rules, no cream in Stroganoff :(

Meats were full of fatty pieces, and delivery man was extremely rude. Never again. One star is for the french fries the best part of the meal if you can call it that.
