The New York Times says that Taam-Tov is “the best deal on a street where you can end up spending a fortune. Perched two floors above 47th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, it’s smack in the middle of the diamond district…Taam-Tov is a glatt kosher establishment, but rarely has a restricted diet tasted as good as it does here.”

this is tricky, the food is AWESOME they have the best kebabs ever. The portion size and price however, are not always worth it, if they can reduce the price or supersize the portions it would be great. The delivery time is uaually between 30-45 minutes reasonable usually.

The pelmene soup is a huge winner. The lamb kabobs, the seabass kabobs and the salmon kabobs are perfect. The bulgar wheat sidedish is great, even the fries are great.

The soups are delicious and the chicken is fabulous. I think this is the best Bukharian food available in Manhattan.

Ordered Pilov for takeout, they are fast, food is only OK, price is hight for amount of food, rice was little but they put good amount of meat on it. Very cheap on utensil and condiments: off brand ketchup, Chinese hot sauce (I am not kidding) and they put ONE spoon in the bag(no fork, knife or salt/pepper). Recommended? No.

$12 ffor beef shiskebab that was bascially 8 little pieces of beef with a salad that was mostly cucumber is a rip off. And one of the beef pieces was pure fat.

Need a good, filling meal in a hurry that's priced ok? Taam Tov. I've been eating their takeout chicken shish kabob for years. LOVE the samsa too! Give them a try!

THE BEST LAMBCHOPS IN TOWN ! ! ! ! Amazing rice, fries, and salads.

Although the chicken shish arrived quickly, it was two lines of fatty, dried-out meat in a styrofoam container of rice. Avoid. The tomato and onion salad was fine, but how hard is it to get that right? Then again, how hard is it to do a chicken shishkabob? Harder, apparently, than this place can manage.

Meats were full of fatty pieces, and delivery man was extremely rude. Never again. One star is for the french fries the best part of the meal if you can call it that.
